Frequently Asked Delivery Questions

How much does delivery cost?

Our office is located in Brisbane and for this reason we only deliver to certain areas in Queensland. For Brisbane Metro deliveries the cost is $154.00 inc. GST. For all deliveries outside of this region, each delivery is POA. We also deliver to the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Toowoomba. We also offer a collection facility to save on costs.

Collection is available Monday – Friday between 7:30am – 4:00pm.

Can I Pick Up My Order?

Yes, you can arrange to collect your roofing supplies from our Brisbane location at 853 Nudgee Rd, Northgate, QLD 4013.
Please take into consideration the size of the roofing supplies you order and the potential difficulties this may raise.

Can I Change the Delivery Address?

You can change the delivery address after ordering by calling us on 07 3041 4980 between 7:30am and 4:00pm on weekdays. Notification is required no later than midday the day before delivery of any changes to site conditions, or delivery address.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Please allow at least 3 working days for delivery. Some areas outside metro may require additional time. If you require your delivery by the weekend, please make sure your order is placed, by at least Tuesday 12.00 noon. We process orders on a daily basis to ensure quick delivery. If there is a delay for whatever reason, we will contact you!

Can I Use a PO Box for Delivery?

No. Rollsec can only deliver roofing supplies and sheet metal products to street addresses due to the size of the materials.

Does there need to be someone onsite to receive the delivery?

Our drivers will leave your products in the safest point available to them. A delivery docket is left with each delivery and photos taken as proof of delivery.

No liability will be accepted by Rollsec if goods are claimed to be missing or damaged when goods are delivered and there is no-one authorised to accept delivery.

All requests for you to be contacted before delivery will be added to any purchase order but Rollsec the supplier or their appointed representative is not obliged to do so. Goods may also be picked up directly from our store by prior arrangement.

When Will Deliveries Be Made?

You can select a specific day to have your roofing materials delivered. Products will be delivered sometime between 7:00am and 2:30pm.

Note that we cannot deliver for a specific time. We recommend you arrange to have your roofing supplies delivered at least a day before commencing a project.
Rollsec will contact you if there is an issue delivering your roofing supplies on the selected day to arrange for a different delivery date.

Provide delivery information when placing your order

Please take the time to give clear information as we may be unable to deliver goods due to inaccurate information being provided.

General dimensions of vehicles and equipment

If goods being delivered are of a large or lengthy nature, you need to be aware of the sizes of most general delivery vehicles and ensure they have clear and safe access to your site / delivery address.

Where Will Products Be Unloaded?

Please note – deliveries usually arrive via semi trailer with small crane attached. The size and weight of our vehicles will restrict their ability to access most properties beyond the front boundary area.

The standard delivery method is to place goods within reach from the kerbside outside of the property. On request, drivers will normally endeavour to place the goods within the property at your designated position within reason. The delivery driver will place your roofing supplies in the most convenient and appropriate place. They will take into account safety, access to the site and the size of your roofing products, as well as any written instructions or verbal requests.
The driver will take photos as proof of delivery.

Note: The driver has the right to make the final decision on product placement once he has assessed the site – taking into consideration any written instructions or verbal requests.

What if Products are Missing or Damaged?

Our drivers are professionals who know how to correctly handle our roofing products to minimise damage. In the unlikely event that a product is damaged or missing, you can notify us by calling 07 3041 4980 during office hours, and we will quickly resolve the issue.

Please have all relevant paperwork for the order and delivery at hand to assist with a quick resolution. Rollsec cannot be held liable for roofing products claimed to be missing or damaged if a delivery was made with no one on site.

Transport

Futile transport or any other transport costs are chargeable to the buyer if goods are unable to be unloaded when delivered on an agreed prearranged date or time and all goods despatched require being returned.

Amendments to Orders

Orders can only be amended on an order to order basis.

Cancellation of Orders

Orders cannot be cancelled except with written consent granted by Rollsec and upon terms that will indemnify Rollsec against all losses. Special order and non-stock goods or materials ordered in error or excess cannot be returned to Rollsec for credit or exchange except by special arrangement. No refunds of payments made towards a cancelled order will be given – a credit for the value of the cancelled order less administration costs of 20% will be held for the customer that can be used towards the purchasing of other goods / services. Orders or balances of orders may be cancelled at the option of Rollsec in the event of any failure by the buyer to abide by the terms of contract.

Returns

Goods can only be returned at the discretion of Rollsec and will be subject to a restocking fee of 25% for stock items and must be accompanied with relevant proof of purchase documentation. Any costs incurred to return goods to the place of despatch are at the buyer’s expense. Goods and packaging must be in original condition, free from damage and blemishes. “Made to order” goods and non-stock items which are accepted by the buyer in good order and condition are non-returnable.

Rollsec reserves the right to decline any return of goods. No refunds will be given – goods can only be exchanged for other goods to the equivalent value less any costs.

Amendments to these Trading Terms

Rollsec reserves the right to alter or change these terms at any time and without notice. Any transactions with Rollsec will be done as per these trading terms and conditions at the time of the applicable transaction(s) – It is recommended you print these terms and conditions at the time of payment for any enquiries made.
