UniCote® SADP has excellent colour and gloss retention and is suitable for roofing, fencing, rainwater goods, garage doors and many other end use applications.
Performance
UniCote® is made for the tough and demanding Australian conditions. UniCote® is tested to Australian Standards (AS/NZ 2728) providing rollformers, fixers and consumers with confidence of outdoor durability. In fact for residential buildings, under normal well washed conditions of exposure UniCote® SADP can be expected to show:
- No perforation as a result of corrosion for 30 years on roofing and as much as 15 years on walling, in ISO Atmospheric Classification C 1-3;
- No cracking, flaking or peeling of the paint film for a minimum of 20 years on roofing in ISO Atmospheric Classification C 1-3.
Durability
UniCote® SADP is a highly durable product designed to give excellent colour retention and high formability. UniCote® SADP is a baked on paint system which has different weathering characteristics to standard air drying paints. This proven technology provides resistance to chipping, peeling or cracking and has been performing in the Australian market for many years.
Flexibility
UniCote® is suitable for all roofing, cladding, rainwater goods garage door and many other end use applications. UniCote® is available in an extensive range of classic colours ensuring a solution is available for any Australian landscape.
Specifications
Finish Coat
Flexible exterior Super Advanced Durable Polyester. The finished coat can be applied both sides of the sheet in the same or different colours.
Substrate
Hot dipped Aluzinc steel coil AZ150 coating. Manufactured to AS1397: 2011.
Pretreatment
Corrosion resistant chromate conversion coating.
Primer
Flexible corrosion resistant chromated primer.
Backing Coat
Shadow Grey is applied as a standard backing coat colour.
Gloss
Typical gloss levels are 25%, measured in accordance with ASTM D523-89 (60 degrees). Non standard gloss levels may be available on application.
Strippable Film
Products can be supplied with an optional strippable protective film. This film should be removed just prior or immediately following product installation.

Warranty and Manufacture
Warranties differ for residential, commercial and industrial buildings in ISO 1-3 environments, depending on whether the product will be used for roofing or cladding.
